To those of you who are following me over from my blogspot post, here is my new home. I will be taking some time to paint the walls and hang some pictures in the next few days. You guys already know me.
For the new peoples… Hey was up?
I am guessing your first question is ikcewicasa? what??? How do you even say that and what does it mean?
Ok first how to say it… you ready? ok here it is. “eek-CHAY-we-CHA-sha” Kinda fun to say huh? It means “common man” in the Lakota language, for that is what I am.
I am rolling into my 40’s but I try to keep my inner 12-year-old well fed.
I have a college degree in Computer Management Systems – If you must know it means I like computers but suck at math so the college decided to throw in some business oriented courses into the mix and leave off the heavy math stuff.
I am 1/4 Oglala Lakota. Most people know us as Sioux. Yep Red Cloud, Crazy Horse all that. If you are still confused rent Dances with Wolves, once you are done watching that go rent and watch Skins.
I love movies, movie scores, photography, travel, pow wow dancing, and singing. I am also an animal lover and I love good food. Oh and I play World of Warcraft.
Politics… I am pretty much a throw the bums out kinda guy. the social conservatives in the Republican party make me sick, The tax and spend policies of the Democrats make me want to kick puppies. Every political poll I have taken places me in the Libertarian sphere but they are lunatics as well. I guess I am a party of one.
Religion… Traditional, or as traditional as I can get in today’s world, Lakota. I am an 8 year sun dancer who has retired to sing on the drum. Wife says she will kill me if I ever pledge to sun dance again. I like living and my wife likes all those serial killer shows on TV, so if she wanted to off me I bet she could do it.
I live in Castle Rock, Colorado with my loving, I hope, wife and two cats. If you want to know more about me and my likes stay tuned.
Over worked, under apreciated, confused, more than a bit twisted person doing hard time as a human shield on a tech support line.
